Story of Mobile App Development Companies, Trends and Future in India

No one on the surface of the earth doubts the future of the mobile technology. Having crossed a milestone already, where businesses could ignore mobile users a couple of years ago, today, if your business isn't mobile ready, you're in trouble!

Our lives revolve around smartphones and mobile applications today. Whether it’s about waking up in the morning, navigate through new routes or book a movie date, there's no task that we don’t need mobile applications for. Mobile apps have really made everything just a click away!

Mobile Applications basically are software applications that are designed to run on smartphones, tablets and other smart devices and make our daily activities really easy.

Well, the first ever public cellular call was done on April 3, 1973, by Martin Cooper of Motorola in a promotional show in New York, America. However, it took about additional 10 years of extensive R&D, before this phone could actually rule the marketplace.

The Evolution of the Mobile Phones:

Psion EPOC: Apps first came with Psion’s series of handheld computers in the early 90s. EPOC was programmed in open programming language and allowed its users to make their own applications, which later formed the foundation of the Symbian operating system.

Palm OS: Palm arose as a major opposition to Psion in the PDA market with the Palm Pilot, its low-priced, lesser functionality range of PDAs.
